Accounting Interns (2) - Gulf/Franklin County - Responsibilities include general receptionist duties including greeting clients, answering phones and logging in/out of client work. General office duties such as filing and copying. Bookkeeping will include entry on computerized system using various software programs to produce monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements and appropriate account analysis and reconciliations. This will include quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, sales tax returns, and other industry specific reports as needed by clients. Other duties will include organizing and summarizing client information for preparation of tax returns. Assist CPA in schedules and other fieldwork necessary for audit workpapers. Dress code casual but neat. Part-time days. 2. Marine Biology Internships - A superb opportunity to participate in critical research that deals with current problems in conservation and management of important fish species. Especially suited for students pursuing careers in marine biology, fisheries science, population biology or other applied sciences. Successful candidates should be majors in fields such as Math, Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering and Geography. Part-time. Wage: unpaid. 3. Engineering Support Services - (1) Pre-Engineering or Engineering Technology Student to work variety of roles. Duties include engineering tasks (checking material lists on drawings, researching standards, supporting configuration management, and uploading documents to our website client areas) and business tasks (weekly backup of files, assisting with preparation of estimates, entering bill of material data into proposal databases, and preparing documentation). No experience is required, although knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Access, and WordPerfect are all pluses. Part-time (10-20 hours/week). Wage: $6.50/hour. 4. Bookkeeper - Responsible for maintaining company bookkeeping and reporting system. Good math skills and one year experience with a personal computer required. Must be able to work alone for extended periods, be detail oriented, have legible handwriting and ten-key by touch. Good written and verbal skills necessary. PCWE. 5. Seasonal Administrative Assistant - Assists the district manager in the completion of administrative tasks in the district including: client relations, preparation of reports and other administrative duties as assigned. Requires at least one year of tax, office or quality control center experience. Detail oriented with good math skills, clerical aptitude and ten-key calculator by touch. Communicate easily and effectively in person and on the phone. Administrative and organizational skills sufficient enough to plan and coordinate workload and set appropriate priorities based on deadlines and district manager guidance. Work with minimal supervision and assume responsibility for work. PCWE. 6. Program Counselors - (2) To teach sports, culture, heritage, career and life planning, health and sexuality, self-reliance and life skills for children ages 6-18 YOA. Monday through Friday. Wage: $5.15/hour. 7. Program Instructors - (3) To teach sports and adventure, heritage and culture, career and life planning, health and sexuality, science, leadership and community action.
