Lynn Wallace has been an instructor at Gulf Coast
Community College since 1989, having taught a wide variety of courses in
the areas of literature, creative writing, and composition. He
initiates a new course, Screenwriting, beginning in Spring 2003. In
1995, he designed and has since instructed courses in Autobiography,
Biography, Family History, and Novel Workshop through Lifelong
Learning. He was name a grant award panelist
for Individual Artist Fellowships in the area of Media Arts for the
Florida Division of Cultural Affairs in 2002
and again in 2005. He has also served as contributing editor
(2001) and co-editor (2002) for the regional literature and arts
anthology, Postcards from Pottersville, and
his novel Los Caminantes was published in fall 2005. He now
serves as the Director of Developmental Studies and continues as advisor
to the Muslim Student Association.
