Home Meet the Staff College Advising Career Planning Learning Styles

Welcome to a new student service at Gulf Coast Community College.  *Our team of three Counselors or Advisors provide college and career planning services for students who:

bulletPlace into one or more "college-preparatory" courses at the introductory level.  These include MAT OOO2 (Basic Mathematics), ENC OOO2 (Basic English) and REA 0001 (Reading Skills I); or,
bulletPlace into two or more of the courses mentioned above and/or MAT 0024 (Fundamentals of Algebra), ENC 0021 (Fundamentals of Composition) and REA 0002 (Reading Skills II); or,
bulletPlace into REA 0001 (Reading Skills I) or REA 0002 (Reading Skills II).

*Students who wish to major in culinary arts, music, theater, technology or one of the health sciences, such as nursing or radiology, will need to see a program advisor.  Click here for more information: GCCC List of Program Advisors.
