POSITION TITLE: English Learning Manager, 9 month (Grant funded)
REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Academic Tutorial Support (Success Center)
BASIC FUNCTION: Primary responsibility is to provide one-to-one and small group tutorial support to students in Language and Literature courses, especially prepatory students.  Develop/evaluate tutorial materials, such as worksheets, practice tests, videos, software, etc.  Develop and present workshops and exam reviews.  Participate in all staff meetings and planning/training sessions.  Support the implementation of program initiatives.  Assisting walk-ins. hiring/training/supervising lab assistants, all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in English or related field.  Teaching experience.  Proficiency with MS Office applications.  Excellent communication skills.  Ability to work with diverse populations.
SALARY: Salary begins at $20,000/yr,  Grant funded
