POSITION TITLE: English Learning Manager
REPORTS TO: Coordinator, Disability Support Services
BASIC FUNCTION: Tutor students with disabilities in humanities, English, and social sciences.  In addition to this, the learning manager will mentor, communicate, and teach organizational skills, time management skills, and learning strategies for students with disabilities.  Learning manager also communicates with faculty regarding student performance and necessary accommodations mandated by federal and state laws.
CLASSIFICATION: 12-month professional
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in English or related field, MS degree preferred; 1+ yrs. experience working with students with disabilities & tutoring/teaching experience.
SALARY: Salary based on degree + experience
DEADLINE: Open Until Filled with a review beginning 7/1/08.
