Event Papers
They must be typed, double spaced, and approximately one page in length in
order to receive full credit. You must also provide proof that you attended
the events. This can include ticket stubs, brochures, etc. The event must be
attended during the Spring Semester. The papers must also address the
following questions:
Who attended the event?
When did the event take place?
Where was it held?
Why did you attend the event?
How did you feel about the experience?
Did it relate to your cultural background?
Oral Presentations
Each student will select one topic from either Chapter 10 or Chapter 11 to
Present to the class. The speech is worth a total of 100 points.
Minimum 5 minute presentation:

Folder
Each student will turn in a folder at the end of the semester. It is the
equivalent of a test grade. The folder must include all of the old tests,
quizzes, journal entries, event papers, and notes from class in order to
receive full credit.
