The Success Center
employs two full-time Language Arts instructors
to assist students enrolled in ENC0002, ENC0021, REA0001,
and REA0002. Students are scheduled for fifty
minutes each week to work on homework, review grammar and writing areas
that need strengthening, or study for tests. Handouts and
Internet sources offer a variety of study aids. Additionally, student
tutors are also on duty. Click on the tutorial links at left
for helpful links. Students
in ENC1101, ENC1102, or other upper-level English courses may
register through Lifelong Learning Center for a nominal fee
(see home page).
The Success Center can answer specific questions (Is the thesis
clear? Do these details support the main idea? Is this how to
document an Internet source according to MLA guidelines?)
Additionally, worksheets with practice exercises and "how to"
information are also available.
